FIT & SIZE GUIDE

The Spectrum kids’ sweater has a relaxed fit and a knitted motif. It is knit from the top down and the motif is knit as you go. The edges of the motif is sewn on afterwards. Both body length and sleeve length are easy ta adapt to your own preferred length.

The Spectrum kids’ sweater has a recommended positive ease of 10-20 cm. The sizes represent the height of the child and fit a chest circumference of 49-53 (50-54) 51-55 (52-56) 54-58 (56-60) 58-64 (60-66) 62-68 (66-72) 68-74 (70-76) 74-80 cm.

You will also need some mohair or other yarn for the outline of the motif.

GAUGE & NEEDLES
17 sts x 20 rows = 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needle.

20 rows in height = 10 cm in double stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles.

5 mm circular needles 60-80 cm depending on preference and size.

4 mm circular needle is used for the double knitting and the rib.

Always pick your main needle based on the gauge.
